Mark’s 24/7 Laundromats began November 28, 2015 when Founder Mark Taylor bought his first laundromat near his home in Pensacola, FL. As a father of 2 (at the time), working a full time job as a local youth pastor, and running his own roofing company (http://taylorroofing.com) life was busy and since “Laundry NEVER Sleeps” he saw a need to start a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week laundromat in Pensacola, FL.
The community rallied behind him and it became his passion from that day until now to create clean and affordable laundromats that never close. Because frankly, “Laundry NEVER Sleeps“.
Now with 4 young sons at home, more than 23 laundromats across the Gulf Coasts of Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, and still running his roofing company, Mark has found his purpose raising sons, running laundromats, and volunteering in his church and community, mostly with youth, children, and disaster relief projects.
Notable community projects include the sponsoring and coordinating of more than 105 free roofs in the Pensacola community; the sponsorship and leadership of the All Pro Dads Day Breakfasts at many area schools; volunteering after disasters such as hurricanes and tsunamis, as well as going to Ukraine when the war started to take supplies into Kharkiv and bring women and children out. The donation of the washers and dryers at both the Dixon School of Arts & Sciences, and the Bright Bridge Ministries Men’s Dormitory.
Coming soon Mark’s 24/7 Laundromats will be sponsoring nearby schools providing a $20 Laundry Card gift to each student each August to make sure children have clean clothes to start each school year.
